The Master's Degree Course in Performing Arts and Audiovisual Production Sciences, activated in inter-university mode with the University of Bologna, aims to train professional figures capable of providing consultancy, design and management of mediated communication in a variety of fields and to train them in the understanding, critical learning and conscious and creative use of the media and communication technologies, i.e. professionals with media skills in the public sector (educational institutions, museums, libraries, media libraries, etc.), the private sector (companies, industries and cultural enterprises) and the third sector. This is a specialised course which, although focused on audiovisual languages and the related production system, will also provide skills in linguistic, literary, art historical, sociological, applied digital technologies and entertainment management. In this perspective, of particular importance are the laboratory, internship and stage activities that will allow students to acquire training 'in the field'.
The degree is awarded upon passing the final examination. The final examination for the Laurea Magistrale consists of the drafting and discussion of a written paper or written in another form provided that it is consistent with the subject and methodology of the research and is accompanied by a written report. The subject of the final examination is agreed upon with the lecturer, chosen by the undergraduate student from among the lecturers belonging to the disciplinary scientific sector of a teaching present in his/her study plan.
