Course description

Admission to the course is subject to possession of an upper secondary school diploma or other equivalent qualification. Knowledge of English, logic, history and geography is also required, in the latter two disciplines with particular reference to the Italian case; logical-deductive and analytical skills are also required, as well as the possession of elementary notions of processing mathematical symbols. These requirements will be subject to verification by means of an admission test, as specified in framework A3.b and determined by the Degree Course Didactic Regulations, which will also indicate the additional training obligations envisaged in the event that the test is not positive.
In order to be admitted to the degree course, it is necessary to hold an upper secondary school diploma or another qualification obtained abroad and recognised as suitable. Enrolment on the open access course requires a non-selective test to assess initial preparation. Information on the contents, type, deadlines and procedures for enrolling and taking the assessment test is contained in the notice of admission published annually on the University website. The assessment test will focus on knowledge of Geography, English and General Culture in line with the Upper Secondary School syllabus. The test is compulsory, but is not binding for admission and allows students to matriculate regardless of the result obtained. On the basis of the result, however, students may be assigned Additional Educational Obligations (OFA). Students who take part in the To Be - Challenge Project will be able to enrol directly in the course once they have obtained their secondary school diploma.
