Course description
The Course offers preparation for professionals intended to be specialists in the project, conduct and evaluation of programs of motor and sports activities adapted to the prevention of diseases and improvement of the quality of life; to post-rehabilitation motor recovery aimed at maintaining physical efficiency; to interventions for the promotion of active lifestyles aimed at achieving and maintaining psycho-physical well-being for subjects in different ages with gender specificity and in different physical conditions; to the prevention and functional recovery of postural vices. The objective is to train professionals capable of combining basic knowledge related to motor and sports activities adapted to the person's needs with specific skills in the different areas of special populations.
Admission to the Master's Degree Program is by programmed number. It will be conditional on possession of a bachelor's degree or degree obtained abroad and recognized as eligible and possession of at least 60 CFUs included in the qualifying areas of motor and sports activities, physiology, biochemistry and anatomy.
Admission is subject to passing an interview that will assess basic preparation.

Graduates find employment in public facilities (preschools and elementary school, first- and second-grade secondary education institutes) and in private facilities both in Italy and abroad. The degree course, therefore, prepares the graduate to carry out preventive and adapted motor activity interventions aimed at different ages and special populations in public and private facilities.
The final examination consists of a public discussion before a specific committee of a written elaborate. The final paper may have an experimental, theoretical, or design nature, or it can be a short paper on a mono- or multidisciplinary topic.
The final graduation grade is expressed on a scale ranging from 66/110 to 110/110, with the possibility of receiving honors.

ERASMUS collaboration projects
To support traditional didactics, the course includes workshops in which students will be actively involved, and a 20 CFU curricular internship at external training agencies and facilities related to the University that should consolidate skills with direct experience in the professional field.
