Course description
In this perspective, it is highlighted that the job market, particularly in our country, compared to the European panorama, records strong delays in terms of digital skills and requires competent professional figures, capable of understanding, evaluating and managing the opportunity and the innovative scope of technological change, with a view to repositioning the business and maintaining the best performances over time, but also, inevitably, with a view to transferring technology to the market.
In the first two years, the degree course provides a training path aimed at promoting the acquisition of knowledge in the business, economic, mathematical-statistical and legal fields aimed at the application and management of digital technological innovations. In the third year, the training path is divided into two curricula: economics and management. The economics curriculum is entirely taught in English and aims to promote the acquisition of knowledge on digital innovation strategies and the exploitation of incentives provided by current public policies. The curriculum also offers the opportunity to acquire the knowledge necessary for business financing and data extraction, as well as for the management and regulation of Big Data and digitalization processes with particular reference to the public sector. The management curriculum aims to offer specialized knowledge relating to market positioning and the analysis of new e-business models in the digital age and the related legal and stakeholder protection profiles; the curriculum also provides skills in the re-engineering of organizational processes and the implementation of digital information systems. By promoting the acquisition of skills for the use of data to support company decision-making processes, the curriculum also aims to provide specialized knowledge for the evaluation of public and private financing opportunities for innovative businesses and start-ups.
