Course description
The course of study is characterized in the first two years according to a path that aims to instill solid mathematical, physical and chemical foundations, which will allow the student to develop that aptitude for solving engineering problems.
However, there are also subjects with a high engineering content in the two-year period aimed at completing the basic training framework
The third year is characterized by the presence of engineering subjects typical of civil engineering, with a high design content. The courses are aimed at providing those basic design tools that will allow the young engineer to masterfully manage the basic design problems of civil engineering, from an analytical point of view.

Admission to the Course of Study requires a high school diploma or equivalent qualification and passing a test.
The student is required to have the following knowledge:
a) a predisposition and adequate technical-scientific preparation;
b) a methodological approach appropriate to the training path undertaken;
c) initial knowledge of the English language;
d) basic computer skills.
With regard to the verification of initial preparation, specifically for points a) and b), the student is required to pass a test consisting of multiple-choice questions mainly in Mathematics and Science. Students who do not pass the knowledge verification will be assigned Additional Training Obligations (OFA), to be fulfilled in the first year of the course, on the basis of what is established in the Course of Study Teaching Regulations.

Profile
Design engineers and project managersFunctions
The main functions of the professional figure that we want to train are those of basic project management in the various fields of civil engineering. The young engineer will possess those analytical tools to deal with basic design in the structural, geotechnical, hydraulic fields, with skills in building technologies and energy of buildings. The tools provided by the course of study are based on a solid mathematical culture, and therefore will allow the development of methodologies aimed at problem-solving, typical of engineering. In this perspective, the versatility of the professional figure will allow it to be placed in the most diverse work environments.Skills
Obtaining the degree allows you to register for the state exam to qualify for the profession of Engineer. In the event of a positive passing of the same, it is possible to register in the professional register section B, in the civil-environmental sector, with the title of Junior Engineer.Sbocco
Construction companies, companies in the hydraulic and geotechnical sector, public administrations, professional firms.The final exam consists of the presentation of a written paper, not characterized by a particular originality, which has the purpose of verifying the acquired maturity and the ability of exposition by the graduate. The final exam must constitute an important individual training opportunity to complete the curricular path.
