Course description

The Degree Course in Viticulture and Oenology includes a first year during which students acquire the basic knowledge (mathematics, physics, chemistry, botany, plant physiology) and other knowledge which constitute the cultural foundations of the preparation. The course is then completed by the disciplines of defense and agricultural production, the economics and management of agricultural enterprises, notions of law and the typical teachings of viticulture and oenology. The course includes an internship in affiliated companies or organizations in order to provide a valid opportunity for direct contact with the world of work.
The Degree Course in Viticulture and Oenology is free to access. An assessment test of initial preparation will still be administered at the time of enrolment.
The student who intends to enroll in the Degree Course is required to have basic knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology on the basis of upper secondary school programmes.
Winemaker, agronomist, food product technician. The Degree Course in Viticulture and Oenology allows students to acquire knowledge and skills in the management of plant production with particular regard to a systemic approach in the relationships between agro-biology, resources and sustainability. Graduates will possess knowledge and skills in the technical-economic management of companies.
The degree in Viticulture and Oenology is achieved by passing a final test which consists in the presentation and discussion of a paper written by the student under the guidance of a supervisor, in front of a commission of teachers.
