Course description

The course focuses on interdisciplinary training, providing the skills to practice professions in which communication plays a primary role (journalism, publishing systems, public communication, advertising), within the framework of knowledge of the underlying historical-political, legal and economic phenomena.
General teachings (I, II year) provide students with conceptual foundations and methods for understanding formats, media and genres of contemporary communication, including digital media and the Internet, and the use of languages and signs in interpersonal, micro and macro social settings.
In the II and III years, educational activities are complemented by laboratory teaching, internship (private companies, organizations and public administrations) and Erasmus stays.
Possession (at least) of an upper secondary school diploma or equivalent foreign qualification.
Verification of preparation by means of an entrance test that ascertains the possession of knowledge in logical-linguistic subjects and in the Social Sciences. The methods of verification are detailed in the Didactic Regulations of the Course.

The final graduation examination consists of the discussion of a short written or multimedia paper on a topic related to a discipline taught in the course.
The committee assigns the grade based on the value of the paper, the discussion and the student's educational background. A final proclamation is planned in a special collegial ceremony.
