Course description
Adeguate conoscenze in ambito storico-politico. Le conoscenze per l'accesso saranno valutate attraverso un test di verifica che determinerà eventuali obblighi formativi da recuperare entro l'anno accademico.
The admission procedure, in accordance with the provisions of the call for applications, will consist of an online multiple-choice test (30 questions) with 4 answers, 1 of which must be correct, to be taken after enrolment by telematic means, using the same login and password that the student uses to access the students.unisalento.it portal The additional training obligations relate to questions of general culture. The additional training obligations must necessarily be recovered within the first year of the course, otherwise there will be a temporary block on the possibility of booking second-year examinations. In order to recover OFAs, students must access the Unisalento e-learning platform with their login and password via the following link http://formazioneonline.unisalento.it In any case, the additional training obligation has no influence on the number of CFUs that the student must achieve in the course of study for which he/she is requesting enrolment.

Graduates, thanks to the combination of multidisciplinary training guaranteed by the common educational pathway (basic and characterising activities) and specific training provided by the related and supplementary activities, will be able to undertake professional activities in a variety of fields. These include: activities as civil servant or manager in public and private administrations; professional activities for governmental and non-governmental, national and international organisations involved in the fields of cooperation, human rights, public policies; economic consultancy activities for private companies; planning in the field of economic, cultural and democratic development.
The Course of Study in Political Science and International Relations presents a single curricular path that aims to deepen the study and knowledge of subjects that are essential for the training of every three-year graduate in Political Science and International Relations. Therefore, the C.d.L. is characterised by a strong and rational multidisciplinarity that is realised with the activation of SSDs in the historical (M-STO/04), historical-political, (SPS/03, SPS/06), sociological (SPS/07), philosophical (SPS/01), legal (IUS/13, IUS/20, IUS/10, IUS/21), economic-social (SECS-P/01, SECS-S/01, MGGR/02) fields. The path also includes an English language course (as a compulsory examination) and a second compulsory language to be chosen between Spanish and French. The course is completed with a compulsory internship or work placement to be completed in public and private affiliated institutions. This is also due to new collaborations with international organisations such as the UN and NATO.
The final examination will consist of an assessment by a specific committee of a paper requiring a commitment on the part of the learner commensurate with the number of CFU assigned to the examination. Critical capacity, inclination to research, autonomy of judgement and argumentative capacity will be assessed for the purposes of the final judgement.
