Course description
The Degree Course in Science and Technology for the Environment is part of the L-32 Class of Degrees in Science and Technology for the Environment and Nature and has a duration of 3 years. The Degree Course aims to train graduates who will have to possess a systemic culture of the environment and use the scientific method for the analysis of components and factors of processes, systems and problems concerning the environment, both natural and modified by human beings. The professional outlets for graduates in Environmental Science and Technology are mainly: public organisations, private companies in the environmental field. Bachelor's degree graduates will be able to pursue Master's degree studies on environmental topics.
A five-year secondary school diploma or other foreign qualification recognised as equivalent is sufficient for admission, without any selective entry test
The professional outlets for graduates in Environmental Science and Technology include technical and collaborative activities in public organisations and private companies for sampling, integrated analysis of environmental matrices in their abiotic and biotic components of ecosystems, as well as environmental assessments in support of environmental planning.
