The Master's Degree in Computer Engineering deepens the various application areas of computer engineering, with particular attention to: programming in Unix and network environments; big data; the Internet of Things; cybersecurity; software engineering and cloud environments; sequential and parallel algorithms; and computer networks.
On completion, graduates:
- have an in-depth knowledge of the theoretical-scientific aspects of engineering, both in general and specifically in computer engineering, and are able to identify, formulate and solve, including in innovative ways, complex or interdisciplinary problems;
- can use the theoretical-scientific aspects of mathematics to interpret and describe complex problems;
- can devise, plan, design, evaluate, validate and manage complex and innovative systems, processes and services;
- can design and manage highly complex experiments;
- possess contextual knowledge, transversal skills and command of the disciplinary vocabularies.
Graduates work in the hardware and software industries, in automation and robotics, in information services and networks, in data analysis and artificial intelligence, and in IT services for public administration.
