Course description
1) carrying out the activity of first level engineer in the various sectors in which his services may be required;
2) promptly addressing and deepening the specialization knowledge required by subsequent master's degrees.
Students who, based on the test results, do not achieve adequate preparation will be assigned Additional Training Obligations (OFA) relating to the subjects in which the student has reported training gaps that must be filled in the first year.

The professional figure of the Industrial Engineer has the skills and competences related to:1) designing single or assembled mechanical components in systems/machines with a particular focus on their life cycle;
2) managing innovation projects, with a particular focus on green economy issues;
3) managing energy and transport systems with a sustainable perspective;
4) designing production technologies and new materials with a sustainability perspective.
Skills
The figure of the Industrial Engineer during his studies has developed skills related to the management of innovationin the green economy, sustainable management of energy production and conversion, new technologies and new materials developed with a view to environmental sustainability, mobility systems transport with particular reference to the aerospace sector.

Job opportunities for the three-year degree course may be manufacturing companies present in the territory and in the related sectors of the Technological Districts such as: Dhitech (High Tech Technological District), Ditne (National Energy Technological District), DTA (Aerospace Technological District).The paper proposed for the final exam that refers to a practical-operational experience is written by the student who, during the performance of the assigned work, receives assistance from a teacher (supervisor).
The assignment of the supervisor, the methods of discussing the thesis and of assigning the grade are regulated by the provisions set out in the Degree Course Teaching Regulations.
