Course description

The Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering is an inter-university programme run in collaboration with the Politecnico di Bari. The two universities have found it fruitful to pool their human, instrumental and material resources in order to develop, in a synergistic way, a programme with a range of specialist skills in the field of aerospace engineering.
Teaching activities may be delivered both at the University of Salento's Brindisi campus and at the Politecnico di Bari's Taranto campus, as set out in the agreement between the two universities.
The programme is organised into two specialist tracks: one focused on aeronautical design and one focused on space systems and technologies. These tracks, together with a wide range of optional courses, allow students to personalise their study path.
Admission to the Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering is open to those meeting all of the following requirements:
1) at least 36 CFU, acquired in any university course, in the disciplinary fields indicated for the basic activities of Class L-9 Industrial Engineering;
2) at least 30 CFU, acquired in any university course, in the characterising fields of the Industrial Engineering degree class. The Teaching Regulations indicate the specifically required fields and, for each or for groups of them, the number of CFU;
3) a good knowledge of English.
Admission is also open to holders of a Specialist or Master's degree in Engineering (Ministerial Decree 509/1999 or 270/2004) or of a degree in Engineering obtained under the system predating Ministerial Decree 509/1999.
An assessment of the candidate's preparation is provided, in the ways set out in the Teaching Regulations. This assessment may be replaced by an English-language certification of at least level B2 of the CEF or by an equivalent qualification.
