Course description
The distribution of the courses relating to the Basic, Characterizing and Related/Integrative Training Activities in the three years of the course responds to criteria of chronological periodization and thematic homogeneity/affinity between courses offered in the same year of the course.
Other Training Activities are planned in the three years of the course to which CFU are assigned and whose distribution is consistent and functional to that contemplated for the courses.
The Degree Course intends to provide basic knowledge that allows entry into the world of work in relation to the management, protection and enhancement of Cultural Heritage (archaeological, historical-artistic, landscape and environmental) and which can be explored in greater depth in the Master's Degree Courses in Archaeology, Digital Heritage and History of Art.
The two international curricula refer to the Italian-Chinese path, double degree, activated, starting from the academic year 2021-2022, with Northwest University of Xi'An: a) Cultural Heritage Preservation Technology; b) Fine Arts, which together form the “NWU-UniSal School of Cultural Heritage and Arts” (AnLai School); the two curricula are taught in English.
In relation to the educational objectives of the course, preliminary knowledge must concern those that in the course will be configured as basic subjects (Italian language, history, geography) and characterizing subjects (ancient, medieval, modern, contemporary art history). In addition to these, basic knowledge of scientific subjects (computer science, physics and chemistry) is required. Students must also have basic knowledge of the English language equal to at least level A2.
This preliminary knowledge will be verified in advance, according to non-selective methods (for example, questionnaires or tests). Any deficiencies must be made up, within the first year of the course, according to the methods established by the Course Regulations.
