The Welcome Office is available to all international students who will be staying at the University of Salento for study purposes (Bachelor, Master or PhD students).
With the support of student tutors, the Welcome Office provides guidance on courses and services at the University of Salento: 

• Choice of study courses 
• Enrolment procedures
• Study visas for Italy
• Accommodation search
• Support on arrival
• Residence permits
• Health insurance
• Tax code
• INPS registration (PhD students only)
• Opening a bank account
• Bus passes 
• and other practical information.

The Welcome Office is also responsible for 

• Designing communication material dedicated to promoting the University of Salento internationally (international website, brochures, banners, posters etc.);
• Planning events dedicated to international students (Welcome week, days, etc.);
• Promote the signing of agreements with local authorities (Agenzia delle Entrate, Questura, Local Health Authority, Municipality of Lecce) and associations (CAF, Patronato etc.);
• Manage activities related to UniSalento's participation in international trade fairs and promotional events; 
• Participate in the drafting of project proposals within the framework of European and non-European programmes;
• Take care of international communication on the university's social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and Youtube);
