The Bachelor's Degree in Law and Policies for Public Administration starts from the central role of public administrations within the legal system, enhanced by recent reforms, including supranational ones (the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and related agendas), which aim to make them the country's 'engine of development' through a profound 'administrative transition' and the strengthening of skills.
Public administrations are today one of the main employers for graduates and require highly qualified human resources to improve the functioning of institutions and citizens' lives. In this context, education becomes intrinsic to the very concept of administration, addressing those who wish to work in the public sector, staff already in service and those who interact with it.
Consistent with class L-14, the programme offers a distinctly legal education that develops specific skills, including in digital and ecological transition. Alongside a solid grounding in public law, it includes legal informatics, subjects useful for defining policies and regulatory-administrative solutions, and the study of relations between legal systems from an international, supranational and transnational perspective, with the study of English.
About 35% of the basic and characterising credits (45 CFU) are delivered online, combining pre-recorded teaching units (20-25 minutes) on the e-learning platform with interactive teaching activities.

Admission requires an upper secondary school diploma or another qualification obtained abroad and recognised as suitable.
Basic knowledge of the legal and constitutional principles relating to public administration is also required. These requirements are assessed in the ways set out in the programme's Teaching Regulations, which also indicate the Additional Learning Requirements (OFA) provided where the assessment is not passed. In particular, applicants take an online test that may be repeated by a set deadline; preparatory material is provided on the programme website. Those who do not pass the test by that deadline must attend one or more seminars, with verification of the clearing of the requirements in the constitutional-law area (disciplinary field IUS/08).
