The Bachelor's Degree in Sports Law and Management trains professionals with legal and managerial skills related to the world of sport, in both the private and public sectors. It combines legal, economic and business knowledge to understand and manage the various aspects of professional and amateur sport and the third sector.
The programme develops skills in sports contracts, e-sports and e-gaming, sports registration, sports labour law and sports tax law, the national and international organisation of sport, sports justice and the management of sports clubs. It thus responds to the growing demand for professional expertise in the sector, made evident by the 'Sport Reform' (Legislative Decree 36/2021) and its subsequent amendments.
It is designed both for school-leavers wishing to pursue a legal-managerial career in sport and for those already working in the sector (athletes and managers) who wish to specialise. It offers innovative teaching, making extensive use of seminars with professionals and sports managers and combining classroom lectures with pre-recorded lessons and a repository of materials that is always available.
Thanks to the interdisciplinary nature of the programme, graduates can continue, at the University of Salento, with the Master's Degree in Business Management (LM-77) or in Communication, Digital Media and Journalism (LM-19).

Admission requires an upper secondary school diploma or another qualification obtained abroad and recognised as suitable.
Basic knowledge of the legal and managerial principles relating to the world of sport is also required. These requirements are assessed in the ways set out in the programme's Teaching Regulations, which also indicate the Additional Learning Requirements (OFA) provided where the assessment is not passed.
