The Degree Course in 'Social Education and Educational Intervention Techniques' offers a training pathway leading to the qualification of 'Social and Educational Professional Educator' particularly oriented to community interventions in the dual role of operator in social services, recreational-cultural services and environmental education, and in health and social-health contexts limited to the strict educational functions.

In order to be admitted to the degree course, it is necessary to hold a five-year high school diploma or another qualification obtained abroad that is recognised as suitable, or a four-year high school diploma and the relevant supplementary year or, if no longer active, the assigned educational debt.

The occupational outlets of the three-year degree student in 'Social Education and Educational Intervention Techniques' are:
- public and private facilities and the third sector (cooperatives) that manage and/or provide educational services also for the 0-3 age group;
- public and private facilities and the third sector (cooperatives) that manage and/or deliver social services;
- facilities providing cultural, recreational and sports services (youth centres, libraries, media libraries, toy libraries, museums, etc.), environmental education services (parks, eco-museums, environmental agencies, etc.).

The training ends with the final examination, which consists of a written paper from which it is possible to deduce and evaluate:
a. autonomy of judgement with regard to the skills acquired in the training course followed;
b. knowledge of professional practices;
c. critical skills with regard to interpretations of the relevant literature.
