Course description

The Degree Course in DAMS aims to provide an adequate basic cultural education, with particular reference to the contemporary age, and to enable students to acquire historical and critical-analytical skills in the field of music, cinema and performing arts. This basic training, based on the idea of the organic nature of the various forms of artistic expression, is supplemented by the contribution of skills in the literary, historical, philosophical, anthropological, sociological, economic and legal spheres, in order to enable students to understand and contextualise the notions acquired in the classroom. The articulated training offer is complemented by a wide range of 'on-the-job' activities, such as laboratories, seminars and workshops, which will involve representatives from the world of art and entertainment. Students will also be able to put into practice the theoretical skills acquired in the classroom and enrich their training with a view to entering the world of work by doing internships in institutions, public bodies or private companies that carry out activities in line with the disciplines taught in the course.
Students can carry out training periods abroad at universities with which Erasmus exchanges are in force.
