Teaching description
There are no prerequisites. For the easiest learning of the subject, however, it is desirable to know the fundamental notions (Level A1).
The teaching of French language is a new development in the field of 'langue de spécialité' in the business world, inspired by innovative methodological reflections.
This course aims to achieve the following learning outcomes:

Introduction to the world of professional communication

Knowledge of the distinctive features of French economic culture in a European and global context

Development of economic skills
Expected outcomes according to the Dublin descriptors:
- Knowledge and understanding:
Acquisition of the tools for understanding the means used to communicate
Study of aspects of commercial life often overlooked in professional language textbooks
- Applying knowledge and understanding:
Analysis of authentic documents of commercial communication

Making judgments:
Ability to make assessments based on authentic and professional documents

Communication skills: Multiple activities, ranging from reception to production Learning skills: All topics and documents presented provide a basis for work, observation, reflection and composition.
- Lectures and practical exercises
Attendance at lectures, although not mandatory, is strongly recommended.
Written and oral assessment at the end of the course to evaluate the acquisition of economic terminology, linguistic structures, and professional skills in line with Dublin descriptors.
