Course description
From the first year, the programme is organised into two paths: 'public management' (in Italian) and 'tourism management and marketing' (in English). The first inherits the equivalent track of the 'Business Management' programme (LM-77 R); the second absorbs the provision of the 'Management of Tourism and Cultural Activities' programme (LM-49 R), discontinued from 2025-26. From 2025-26, the traineeship occupies a whole semester (the fourth), alongside courses, workshops, optional activities and the thesis (120 CFU); in-person teaching is complemented, for specific categories of students, by online delivery, with examinations held in person.
The 'public management' path trains managers for public administration, public-private enterprises and the third sector, with skills in planning, management and managerial control. The 'tourism management and marketing' path trains professionals and managers for the tourism and hospitality sector, with skills in business economics, strategic management, marketing, organisation, finance and the economic-statistical sciences, for sustainable management at local, national and international level. Traineeships and practical projects are provided; admission takes place following an interview.
