Course description

The Master's Degree in 'Communication, Digital Media and Journalism' (LM-19) completes the path begun with the Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences (L-20) and offers Bachelor's graduates a specialisation in the professions of information and publishing systems. It is organised into two tracks, 'Digital Media and Journalism' and 'Digital Media and Publishing', and trains advanced-level professionals with digital skills, to work in the public and private information system and to take on positions of responsibility in digital-media, publishing and journalism companies.
On completion, graduates acquire: solid historical-political, social, legal, literary and linguistic foundations (with regard to Italian); knowledge of the techniques and methodologies of information and communication; skills for designing and managing multimedia/digital products and for the management and organisational needs of companies in the sector; and knowledge of journalistic language, digital media and publishing processes in English.
The programme alternates foundational courses (digital convergence, analysis of social and political phenomena) and applied-vocational activities (workshops on information techniques, multimedia products, publishing and journalism), taking into account the innovations linked to artificial intelligence. The training is completed by free-choice courses, traineeships, Erasmus mobility and seminars with professionals.
