Course description
The Master's Degree in Performing Arts and Audiovisual Production Sciences, run jointly with the University of Bologna, trains professionals able to provide consultancy and to design and manage mediated communication in various fields, and to promote the understanding, critical learning and conscious and creative use of media and communication technologies. It prepares professionals with media skills for the public sector (schools, museums, libraries, media libraries), the private sector (companies and cultural enterprises) and the third sector. While focused on audiovisual languages and their production system, the programme also provides linguistic-literary, historical-artistic and sociological skills, as well as skills in applied digital technologies and in the management of the performing arts.
The provision is complemented by a wide range of 'field' activities - laboratories, seminars and workshops involving figures from the world of art and entertainment - and by traineeships at institutions, public bodies or private companies consistent with the programme's subjects, which allow students to put into practice the skills acquired ahead of entering the labour market. Periods of training abroad are also possible at universities with which Erasmus exchanges are active.
