Course description
Studies in structural civil engineering, building technologies, hydraulic engineering and infrastructure form the backbone of a programme that aims to train engineers ready to tackle even complex engineering problems.
All of the following requirements are needed:
- a Bachelor's, Specialist or Master's degree (Ministerial Decree 509/1999 or 270/2004) obtained at an Italian university, or a five-year degree predating Ministerial Decree 509/1999, or an equivalent qualification;
- at least 40 CFU (or equivalent knowledge) in the disciplinary fields indicated for the basic activities of the Civil and Environmental Engineering class;
- at least 60 CFU (or equivalent knowledge) in the fields indicated for the characterising activities of the same class.
A dedicated Committee assesses any curricular integrations in CFU, to be acquired before the assessment of individual preparation, providing a different initial path where necessary. The Committee then verifies the adequacy of the candidate's preparation through specific admission tests, in accordance with the programme's Teaching Regulations. The tests include verification of English at least at level B2, which may be replaced by a suitable B2 or higher certification of the CEF or an equivalent qualification.
