Course description
In continuity with the Master's Degree in Philosophical Sciences, students can acquire the credits needed to access the teaching qualification competition classes A-19 (History and Philosophy) and A-18 (Philosophy and Human Sciences), or build a path extended to cross-disciplinary and strategic fields, with attention to the links between philosophy, the human sciences and new technologies.
The programme is enriched by agreements with prestigious European universities — such as the University of Cologne and the Pontifical Gregorian University — offering international double-degree Master's paths. Teaching also benefits from the collaboration of nine research centres active across the whole history of philosophy up to the most recent frontiers of thought.
Seminars, workshops and traineeships complete the path, training graduates able to combine philosophical depth with practical skills. The programme includes at least one European language and provides access to the Master's Degree in Philosophical Sciences, including the double-degree paths with Universität zu Köln (Italian-German) and in Philosophy of Religion with the Pontifical Gregorian University.
Initial preparation is assessed through an entrance test aimed at verifying basic knowledge of logic and philosophy.
Where the test result is not positive, Additional Learning Requirements (OFA) are assigned, to be cleared during the first year.
