Course description
The Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics aims primarily to train graduates with a broad range of knowledge and skills in core mathematics and its applications. It provides an education open to further specialisation, including in scientific areas for which mathematics is a conceptual and operational tool.
In the first two years, the programme provides a solid grounding in the traditional branches of mathematics (algebra, analysis, geometry) together with basic preparation in computer science and physics. In the third year, students complete their core preparation and pursue their individual interests by choosing courses from theoretical and applied groups, as well as free-choice courses.

Admission to the Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics requires, in addition to an aptitude for rigorous reasoning, a good familiarity with the mathematical language of arithmetic, geometry and algebra, and an interest in learning new concepts and analysing complex problems.
