The Department of Managerial Sciences is a challenging interdisciplinary environment where research and teaching activities are focused on business and management which evolve over time as a result of globalisation, technological innovation and the ‘transition’ to digital and green economy.
The Faculty of the Department includes about seventy researchers, who are involved in national and international research projects in several fields: strategic management, economics, finance, mathematics and statistics, and law; economic growth; public economics; management and accounting; finance, digital banking and fintech; green finance; corporate social responsibility; environmental sustainability.
Nearly three-thousand students are enrolled in the courses offered by the Department:
- 4 Bachelor degree programs (areas of: Management; Economics and Finance; Digital Management; Economics and Management of Tourism), 2 of which in partnership (double degree) with the universities of Valladolid (Spain) and Lille 1 (France);
- 3 Master degree programs (areas of: Management; Economics, Finance and Insurance; Management of Tourism and Cultural activities);
- 2 professional Master programs (areas of: Digital banking and Fintech; Management of Logistics);
- 1 PhD program.
- Several post-doc scholarships are offered as well.
The Department aims at organising Research and Teaching Laboratories in the fields of: Start-ups, entrepreneurship and business incubator; Data management; Risk management and climate change; Sustainable Development; Neuro-management ; Innovation and industry 4.0; Cultural and Creative Ecosystem; Soft Skill for Tourism Management.
