Course description
The programme leads to the professional qualification of Art Historian (Article 2 of Law No. 110 of 22 July 2014) and offers options for teacher training (anthropology, psychology, pedagogy), for the economics and management of cultural heritage, and integrative subjects such as geography and cultural-heritage legislation.
The Master's degree gives access to master's courses and doctoral schools, to the competitions for teaching Art History (and, with supplementary exams, to other teaching classes) and to competitions for inspectorate and managerial roles at the Ministry of Culture. It also provides skills useful for entering other fields (publishing, communication, information management and dissemination through new media and social networks).

Students must be able to express themselves fluently, in written and oral form, in a European Union language, including its disciplinary vocabulary; IT skills applicable to cultural heritage are also assessed. An assessment of each candidate's preparation is provided, in the ways set out in the Teaching Regulations. No Additional Learning Requirements are envisaged at admission.
