The Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages, Cultures and Literatures aims to train professionals able to work independently in contexts requiring linguistic and cultural skills.
Graduates will have acquired theoretical and technical skills in the language, literature and culture of two European linguistic-cultural areas (chosen from English, French, Spanish and German). They will also have basic skills in a further linguistic and cultural area (chosen from Arabic, Portuguese, Albanian and Turkish).
They will also have a broad knowledge of the essential literary, critical, philological, comparative and semiotic themes. Graduates will be able to compare texts, analyse a given text in linguistic terms and within its historical-cultural, social and literary context, and to produce and translate various types of text into Italian and foreign languages, particularly in the literary, journalistic and essay fields.

Admission requires an upper secondary school diploma or an equivalent qualification, or another qualification obtained abroad and recognised as suitable under current legislation. In view of the programme's specific objectives, a good basic preparation in the humanities (Italian language and literature, history, geography) and knowledge of at least one foreign language are required. The programme runs preliminary, selective checks of the minimum requirements through questionnaires or entrance tests. Any Additional Learning Requirements (OFA) must be cleared during the first year.

No
