The Master's Degree Course in Science for International Cooperation of the University of Salento - which will be based in Brindisi - guarantees its students advanced knowledge in sociological, economic and historical-politological disciplines, enabling them to analyse and interpret the specific social, economic and institutional forms that characterise the economies of all the countries of the Euro-Mediterranean area, with particular attention to developing countries, economic and institutional forms that characterise the economies of all the countries in the Euro-Mediterranean area, with particular attention to the developing countries - for which specific skills will be fostered in order to effectively manage the relations between gender and development and between peace and development - as well as to assess and manage international cooperation processes.

In order to attend the Master's degree course successfully, it is necessary to have acquired:
1. knowledge of the English language at level B2
2. adequate individual preparation
The candidate must, under penalty of ineligibility, be in possession of the following requirement:
- Bachelor's degree pursuant to Art. 3 c. 1 of Ministerial Decree 509/99 acquired in class 15 (Political Science and International Relations) and class 35 (Social Sciences for Cooperation, Development and Peace);
or
- Bachelor's degree pursuant to Art. 3 c. 1 of DM 270/04 acquired in one of the following classes:
- L-6 Geography,
- L-11 Modern Languages and Cultures,
- L-12 Language Mediation;
- L-14 Legal services sciences;
- L-16 Administration and organisation science;
- L-18 Economics and Business Management Sciences;
- L-33 Economics;
- L-36 Political Science and International Relations;

- Master's degree pursuant to Art. 3 c. 1 of DM 270/04 acquired in one of the following classes:
- LMG/01 Jurisprudence;
- LM-16 Finance;
- LM-36 Languages and Literatures of Africa and Asia;
- LM-37 Modern European and American Languages and Literature;
- LM-38 Modern Languages for Communication and International Cooperation;
- LM-52 International Relations;
- LM-56 Economics;

In addition to fulfilling the curricular requirements, all students are subject to a personal background check.

Experts, researchers and civil servants in the field of project management, definition and testing, in the field of international cooperation and integration policies in public and private bodies and organisations (public administration, international organisations, local institutions and the business world).
Officials in national and supranational bodies involved in international cooperation and the management of migration flows and asylum seekers.
Diplomatic career (Legation Secretary - after passing an open competition).

The final examination for the master's degree consists of the drafting and public discussion of a written thesis prepared in an original manner by the student under the guidance of a supervisor and on a topic consistent with the objectives of the course of study.
