Course description

The aim of the course of study is to broaden the skills acquired by students during their three-year degree course, paying particular attention to international issues. In particular, the courses activated will have an internationalist slant that will enrich the multidisciplinary skills already acquired in the legal, political, geographical and historical spheres by favouring internationalist, geopolitical and comparative aspects.
1. Specific historical-political, legal, geographical and political skills are required for access. For all students, access is conditional on the possession of curricular requirements, defined in the study course's didactic regulations.
In particular, a graduate wishing to enter the Master's degree programme must, under penalty of ineligibility, be in possession of the following requirement:
- Bachelor's degree pursuant to Art. 3 c. 1 of Ministerial Decree 509/99 acquired in class 15 (Political Science and International Relations) and class 35 (Social Sciences for Cooperation, Development and Peace)
or
- Bachelor's degree pursuant to Art. 3 c. 1 of DM 270/04 acquired in one of the following classes:
- L-6: Geography;
- L-11: Modern Languages and Cultures;
- L-12: Language Mediation;
- L-14 Legal services sciences;
- L-16 Administration and organisation science;
- L-36 Political science and international relations;
- L-37 Social sciences for cooperation, development and peace;
- L-40 Sociology;
- L-42: History;
or
- Master's degree pursuant to Art. 3 c. 1 of DM 270/04 acquired in one of the following classes:
- LM-16: Finance
- LM-36: African and Asian Languages and Literatures
- LM-37: Modern European and American Languages and Literature
- LM-38: Modern Languages for Communication and International Cooperation
- LM-52: International Relations
- LM-56: Economics
- LM-80: Geographical Sciences
- LM-84: Historical Sciences
- LM-88: Sociology and Social Research
- LM-94: Specialist Translation and Interpreting
or
- Master's degree pursuant to Art. 3 c. 1 of Ministerial Decree 270/04 acquired in the LMG/01 Jurisprudence class or four-year degree (VO) in Jurisprudence.
In addition to fulfilling the curricular requirements, all students are required to undergo a personal background check in the manner defined in the regulations.
2. The requirement referred to in the previous point must be fulfilled by the date of the verification test.
The multidisciplinary nature of the knowledge acquired during the master's degree course, together with the comparativistic and internationalist knowledge of the issues involved, will enable graduates to enter the labour market having acquired skills in the legal, historical, economic and legal fields throughout the course.
The dissertation will consist of the public discussion, before a specific committee, of a paper that will require a commitment on the part of the learner proportionate to the number of CFUs assigned to the paper.
