The Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural and Wine Sciences includes a first year in which students acquire basic knowledge (mathematics, physics, chemistry, botany, plant physiology) and other foundations of the discipline. The path is then completed by subjects in plant protection and production, the economics and management of agricultural businesses, notions of agricultural policy and the disciplines of agricultural and forestry engineering and representation, with third-year tracks oriented towards agricultural systems or viticulture and oenology. The programme includes a traineeship at affiliated companies or bodies, offering valuable direct contact with the world of work. Graduates in Agricultural and Wine Sciences are able to carry out technical tasks in the management of primary production, processing, and the conservation, storage and distribution of agricultural and wine products, working in compliance with quality and food-safety standards. The overall aim is to improve agricultural and wine production in both qualitative and economic terms, by introducing technical and process innovations and promoting environmental sustainability along the entire supply chain.

Admission to the programme requires at least one of the following qualifications:
- an upper secondary school diploma;
- a qualification obtained abroad declared equivalent to an Italian upper secondary school diploma.
A basic knowledge of mathematics, chemistry, physics and biology is required.
In addition, a reasonable general culture and the usual logical and expressive skills are required.
These skills and knowledge are assessed through a compulsory initial-preparation test; where the result is negative, Additional Learning Requirements (OFA) are assigned.
