Course description
The Bachelor's Degree in Management Engineering aims to create a professional profile in engineering marked by a strong degree of interdisciplinarity, combining technical-scientific knowledge and skills with managerial ones, including the increasingly important aspects of environmental and social sustainability. Building on a solid foundation of basic disciplines (mathematics, statistics, physics and chemistry) suitably applied to the engineering domain, the programme brings together the fields most closely linked to industry and services, such as traditional and innovative production technologies, logistics systems, the sustainable management of utilities (e.g. energy production and distribution systems), new sustainability-oriented business models, together with models for managing digital technologies and data, business management and organisation, the creation of new businesses and project management.
Admission to the programme requires an upper secondary school qualification or an equivalent one, and adequate technical-scientific preparation to be verified through an admission test.
Bachelor's degrees taught in Italian do not include an initial English language assessment.
Students who, on the basis of the test results, do not achieve adequate preparation are assigned Additional Learning Requirements (OFA) in the subjects where gaps emerged, to be cleared during the first year.
