The Bachelor’s Degree Psychological Science and Techniques allows its students to acquire the basic knowledge of different areas of psychological disciplines and of methods and procedures of scientific investigation as well as some essential technical skills (psychological/clinical interview practice, psychometric technique, data gathering and processing) and operative skills (e.g. activity planning, communication, report, documents management) to professionally work – supervised by psychologists holding a Master’s Degree or a higher degree – with services to individual, groups, organizations and communities. The educational path is organized in order to integrate the acquisition of theoretical and methodological knowledge and the educational activities aiming at acquiring the techno-operative skills. The Course allows access to educational paths of the Master’s Degree LM-51 (Psychology).

To be admitted to the Course it is required a five-year school degree or other approved corresponding qualification obtained abroad. Students requiring the admission to the Course must demonstrate a good general knowledge, the knowledge of syntax, spelling and reading comprehension, the knowledge of cross-competences (logical and scientific reasoning, problem solving and critical reasoning) and a basic knowledge of the English language.
The testing of these knowledge and competences is carried out through an entrance exam. Possible gaps in the English language knowledge and in the cross-competences, identified by the entrance exam, entail the compulsory Additional Learning Requirements (OFA).
The across-the-board nature of the profile of competences of the Course aims at allowing the graduate to pursue a multiplicity of job possibilities, as a professional or employed:

The Course ends with a conclusive exam made up of a written thesis, consisting of:
- a short bibliographic review on a subject of scientific concern;
- psychological analysis of a phenomenon of socio-cultural concern;
- a short report about an original empirical survey.
The final exam, in all its/types ( review, psychological analysis, survey report) aims at developing and testing the judgment autonomy reached by the student art the end of studies and of his/her learning skills. The final exam consists of a written paper organised into sections agreed by the student and supervisor..
