The course of study aims to broaden the skills acquired by students during their three-year degree, paying particular attention to international issues. In particular, the courses activated will have an internationalist slant that will enrich the multidisciplinary skills already acquired in the legal, political, geographical, and historical fields by focusing on internationalist, geopolitical, and comparative aspects. The specificity of the course will be guaranteed through the activation of specialized teachings that will represent the natural evolution and continuation of the study path undertaken in the three-year path. No articulation in curricula is foreseen. In order to highlight the specificity of the scientific and didactic approach, the title of the courses will not follow the ministerial denomination of the SSD. Moreover, the knowledge of at least one EU language (different from Italian) is required, as well as internship and seminar activities.
The verification of the skills required for access is assessed through an interview conducted by teachers specifically identified.
The interview will focus mainly on the student's three-year course of study, through an in-depth examination of the programs of study followed by the student, with particular attention to the knowledge necessary to start the Master's program, and starting, however, from the topic explored in the test at the end of the three-year course of study. In order to be more specific, topics related to the History of International Relations, Political Science or the History of Political Institutions will be addressed.
Specific historical-political, juridical, geographical and political skills are required for access. For all students, access is conditional on the possession of curricular requirements, defined in the educational regulations of the course of study. Regardless of the curricular requirements, for all students there is a verification of personal preparation, with procedures defined in the regulation.

In particular, a graduate who intends to access the master's degree must be in possession, under penalty of ineligibility, of the requirement of at least a three-year first-level degree pursuant to art. 3 c. 1 of DM 509/99 acquired in classes 15 and 35 or a three-year degree pursuant to art. 3 c. 1 of DM 270/04 acquired in classes L-36 and L-37 or in classes L-16 Science of Administration and Organization; L-40 Sociology; L-14 Science of Legal Services; LMG/01 Law or four-year degree (VO) in Law.

The professional will be able to assume roles and functions of responsibility in the management of public and private, national and international administrations. It is considered necessary for this figure to have a thorough knowledge of historical, political, legal and social issues.

Outcome
The multidisciplinary nature of the knowledge acquired during the master's degree, together with the comparative and international knowledge of the issues, will allow graduates to enter the job market having gained during the entire course skills in the legal, historical, economic, and legal fields.
The thesis will consist in the public discussion, before a specific commission, of a paper that will require a commitment from the student proportionate to the number of CFUs assigned to the test. For the final evaluation, the critical capacity, the propensity to research, the autonomy of judgment, the argumentative and expositive capacity, the originality of the thesis work will be evaluated. The final evaluation will also take into consideration the outcome of the final discussion that foresees an active role of the teaching staff.
